Merry Christmas! (Dec 25th 2011)

Wishing everyone blessings from our Lord Jesus Christ.

First off, thanks for your prayers! The Mexico mission team (all ten of us: Andy Shin, Jo Rhyoo, Brian Hong, Eunice Lee, Chris Son, Michael Zhu, Judie Hong, Markus Bruks, David Kim and Israel Kim) went to Tecate, Mexico for three days (Dec 22^nd-24^th). We served three different churches doing children ministry, adult ministry and putting on a Winter Family Festival. The weather was extremely cold at night, as we have expected. When we were done with our last ministry Friday night, it was already past 11:00 pm. By the time we had our super late night taco finale dinner it was already past midnight. Although we missed the comfort of Irvine it was worth those three days of hard work.  We were able to share Jesus Christ, who is the reason for this Christmas celebration. It was a meaningful time for all of us. The Mission team thanks you for your prayer and support!

Secondly, I pray that He will bring you hope and peace. He will make your life beautiful and plentiful. God sent His Son to us to bring salvation. Jesus Christ came to this world to become a peace offering for us and today we are celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This is a very special Christmas for me and my family because I have seen how God has been blessing my immediate family as well as my spiritual family. It is my deepest desire to see your life being filled with God’s blessing and peace.

As the book of Luke describes, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” (Luke 2:14) Let’s wish a happy birthday to our Lord Jesus Christ and celebrate His birth with those people that we love, while remembering that true peace comes from our Lord.
